Unigov Handbook

Unigov Handbook

What is Unigov? How does it work? How can you participate knowledgeably in local government?

First published in 1980, the Unigov Handbook: A Citizen's Guide to Local Government is designed to inform the community about Indianapolis-Marion County's unique form of local government. It was compiled, researched, and edited by League of Women Voter of Indianapolis members with assistance from various community members and government workers. It is intended to provide accurate, non-partisan information.

A limited supply of hardcopy Unigov Handbooks are available and may be requested from the LWV of Indianapolis Education Fund while supplies last. Shipping and handling charges will vary based on quantity desired. Contact the LWV Voter Service Chair at voterservice@lwvindy.org to request a copy or send a written request to: The League of Women Voters of Indianapolis, 3808 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208
